Fame blows her trumpet in honour of Britannia who is seated in her chariot drawn along by hippocampi. Neptune returns her call sounding on his conch. The plate displays vignette portraits of Adam Duncan and Lord Onslow, along with sixteen other officers who engaged the Dutch fleet off the Texel that day.
