A spirited miniature likeness of the Hero, after the portrait by Lemuel Abbot, accompanied by the following biographical details:
'Horatio Nelson. Baron Nelson of the Nile &c. &c. He was born Septr. 29th 1758, in the parsonage-house of Burnham-Thorpe, in the county of Norfolk, of which Parish his father was then rector, and expired Octr. 1805, nearly at the close of that dreadful engagement off Cape Trafalgar, between the English and the combined fleets of France and Spain, having been wounded about the middle of the action.'
