Generally good condition throughout for age, old folds and creasing, as expected. Restoration to top right corner.
An attractive twin hemispheres map marked with the routes and dates of Cook's Tracks between 1768 and 1779.
Small roundel of "The North Pole shewing the Countries from the Lat 50 to 90." occupies the centre space beneath of the hemispheres to balance the title cartouche at the top of the sheet.
The coast of Alaska is depicted "according to the Japanese'.
O why hee (Hawaii) is identified with ominous legend 'Here Cook was killed."
