This plate was originally published by John Bowles, Robert Sayer & John Tinney, circa 1760 for The Large English Atlas.
Folding map is in excellent condition throughout.
Paper-covered slipcase in good condition for age; 1 3/4” long tear down right hand side, with some loss. Title label worn to illegibility, fascinating printed price list on verso detailing Bowles and Carver’s latest publications.
